Signatories to Keep Libel Laws out of Science campaign

To help launch the campaign, Sense About Science sought 100 high profile supporters. However, the response was so great that the campaign got off to a very successful start with 170 signatories before launch. These included Lord Rees of Ludlow, Professor Richard Dawkins, Martin Amis, Ricky Gervais, Stephen Fry, James Randi, Penn & Teller and Professor Sir David King, former Chief Scientific Adviser to the UK Government.
